A Little Bit About K.FERG+FRIENDS
“The Kevin Ferg & Friends Co.” is a new entertainment production company, founded by Kevin Lamar Ferguson.
Before he started producing, Kevin grew up in Columbus, Ohio and started performing at 11 with the Columbus Children Theatre. Kev went on to study Theatre at Wright State University. And right after graduation Kevin moved to New York City to start his professional journey.
While pursuing an acting career, Kevin worked at several regional theatres and even performed in the 2016 International Tour of Shrek The Musical! In between gigs, Kevin assisted off-broadway producers to learn more about the industry.
After a plethora of NYC survival jobs, he was able to join the fabulous team at Feinstein’s/54 Below. In 2018, Kevin started hosting show for 54 Below, those cabarets sparked the creation of KFerg&Friends.
Kevin wanted to introduce KF&F as a new, black-owned, gay-owned, millennial-owned business that produces not only cabarets, but also short films, music videos and other live events.
The “& Friends” represents anyone who has ever supported anything featuring Kevin Ferguson. Whether in the project or in the audience, any contribution of time, energy or support to KF&F makes you part of the “& Friends” The first KFF event was on Dec 6, 2019 called The Friendsgiving Leftovers and it was a sold out hit!
THE FRIENDSGIVING LEFTOVERS - DEC 2019
The Friendsgiving Leftovers was such a hit we immediately started planning shows for the upcoming year but the next year was 2020! (fml, lol) But that pandemic didn’t stop Kev. The in-person stage shows were paused but it gave time to focus on filmed projects and on January 1st, 2021, Kev debuted his first musical short film called “I Wanna Be A Producer” which went on to help kickstart the KFF production fund and really got the industries attention.
